In a statement, FTSO (Fethiye Chamber of Commerce and Industry President Osman Çıralı said, “With these promotions, we believe that the 2021 tourism season will be better than the 2020 season.Despite all these difficulties with the pandemic, we welcome our guests to Fethiye with safe tourism certificates, boutique businesses, the beautiful nature of Fethiye, blue flag beaches and bays, walking areas, paragliding activities. We hope that 2021 will be better than in 2020, even if we cannot catch 2019 ”.
President Çıralı went on to state that posts on social media about the implementation of the Babadağ cable car project are wrong, saying “Posts saying the cable car project will open on 1 May are incorrect and create misinformation. We are the head of this business and even we don’t know when it will open.
Test drives have started in Babadağ now. The approval of mechanical and electrical engineers is required. Employees need to complete their training and receive certificates. There are difficulties with the company that will come from Austria for the regulation process.
We hope it will open this year, but there is no need to confuse people about its progress. I hope to be able to explain more about the Babadağ Skywalk to the public in the near future.”
