Friday 2nd December* was the annual FIG Christmas Craft Fayre – and it was the biggest and best one yet with a total of 185 tables, spilling out of the usual spot next to Address Restaurant. Stalls stretched all along the kordon against a backdrop of blue skies and snow capped mountains.
The weather was perfect and visitors spent a few happy hours wandering around the colourful stalls, greeting old friends and enjoying the relaxed and festive atmosphere, as well as picking up Christmas cards, decorations, gifts, pickles, mincemeat and a selection of edible goodies.
“The whole day was a fabulous success, we had positive feedback from stallholders and visitors, the atmosphere was astounding.” said Fig Chairman, Sheila Tongue
“We raised a net total of 1500TL which will go towards funding projects to help the local children in the Fethiye area. FIG would like to say a very big thank you to everyone for their support”

If you missed it…
3c’s will be holiday their annual Christmas Fair on the seafront at Çalış on Sunday 11th December between 11am and 5pm.
Father Christmas will be making an appearance at 12:30pm with a parade along the promenade, his grotto will open at 1:30pm
