From time to time we like to create a photo-story showing scenes of our beautiful part of the world.
Sometimes we have the opportunity to use some terrific photographs taken by our readers in and around Fethiye.
This time we would like to thank Angela, Jeanne and Erdal for allowing us to share theirs.
Greetings to our annual visitors
We can be pretty certain that spring has arrived when storks appear and glide around
for a while before settling into their nesting sites and preparing for parenthood.

Froggy Chorus
Also the froggy chorus has begun to fill the air sending messages across the countryside that spring is definitely here.

Hopefully, they will thrive this year.

Frog with a spring in its step
We’ve found an amazing recording that lasts for 11 hours
– although we’re pretty sure they aren’t Turkish frogs – the sound is pretty similar!
For people missing Kayakoy in particular, the sound is very relaxing.
Sun and clouds
Although Fethiye is getting warmer day by day, spring is still an uncertain time of year and
sometimes the clouds gather and threaten a storm but usually they pass within a couple of days.

And then the sun comes out again!

Sunshine in Kayakoy
Have a great week, and may the sun shine on you, wherever you are!
