Have you looked across the bay from Karagözler and wondered what the strip of white is that has appeared this season? From a distance, it may look like a beach absolutely packed with sunbeds!
Look more closely and you will see it is actually a white beach
Aksazlar Bay – Leb-i-Derya restaurant
Aksazlar Bay is now in its second year of new management and has undergone many changes and improvements.
Set in a secluded location with beautiful views and surrounded by woodland, Aksazlar Bay is an ideal place for a relaxing day out.
With its beach area (including an accessible area for wheelchair users), shady areas, beach bar, vitamin bar and restaurant that serves snacks as well as la carte meals, there’s something for everyone.
The beach
The first thing that strikes you is the white sand contrasting perfectly with the turquoise of the sea, sunbeds and umbrellas. The sand is made from quartz and contains minerals that absorb negative energy. It also stays cool to the touch up to 25 degrees celsius.
A very special beach
Sometimes it’s very difficult, if not impossible, for wheelchair users to enjoy a swim in the sea. At Aksazlar beach that has now become a possibility.
The Accessible beach was fitted by Muğla Metropolitan Mınicipality and is the only one in the Fethiye area.
The beach has a trolley and a ramp to enable wheelchair users* to enjoy a swim in the cooling waters.
The facilities also include a changing room, shower room and toilet for people with disabilities.
*Wheelchair users must be accompanied to use the ramp
Pet-friendly
There are plans for a specific beach area to enable people to bring their pets.
Shady areas
If you’re not a sun lover there are plenty of shady areas where you can relax and you’re never too far away from your family or friends who may want a spell in the sun.
Food and drink – take your pick
The vitamin bar serves juices and smoothies – right next to the beach.

Enjoy a snack or a meal.
Leb-i-Derya restaurant
Leb-i-Derya means ”place that is right on the sea, a fitting name for this beautifully located restaurant.
You can sit inside in the cool and still enjoy the view across to Fethiye
Or you can dine on the outer terrace.
Enjoy lunch on the upstairs terrace
The menus have a good selection of drinks, snacks and meals at reasonable prices.
You can even have a table right on the beach.
Enjoy an evening visit
In the evening, when the sun has set and dusk falls, you can enjoy a meal at Leb-i-Derya, a place that could be in a fairytale.

Aksazlar Bay also includes a picnic area and campsite (tent hire available)
There is a regular dolmuş service that runs from Taşyaka to Karagözler. Just ask the driver for Aksazlar.
Car parking is available – charges apply. Parking charge is refunded with a minimum spend.
Entry is free* however, charges apply for sun beds umbrellas, and gazebos. Gazebos must be reserved in advance. *Excludes picnic area

There is a concert area where various activities take place.
Special parties and weddings catered for – unique, butik weddings are a speciality
Caters for private bands, yoga or Tai-Chi classes or dance lessons
Foam parties on Saturday or Sunday
