Why walking in Turkey?

“It is the start of the Lycian Way so has a good walking infrastructure available. There are also other trails other than the Lycian Way to choose from in the area. During our walking holidays, we have rest days and there are plenty of things to do that suit active people; paragliding, white water rafting, boat trips and gorge scrambling in Europe’s second longest natural gorge at Saklıkent to name a few”

“The Yakamoz has been used by walkers for many years and has offered walking packages for experienced guides for three years. It is used by many walking groups and offers a library of walks, maps, and guidebooks, advice on transport and routes, They also arrange packed lunches and refreshments whether you are on a walking package or self-guided walkers.
Walking packages include airport transfers, half-board or full-board, a guided walking programme for different fitness levels, travel arrangements on walking days and a booking service for other activities on rest days. Day 1 – Arrival
Day 2 – Ölüdeniz to Yakamoz Hotel (16km/5 hours)
Day 3 – Afkule Monastery to Darboğaz Bay (14km/4-5 hours)
Day 4 – Lycian Way: Ovacık to Faralya (13km/4-5 hours)
Day 5 – Boat trip
Day 6 – Kirme – Karaağaç – Alınca – Kabak (18km/6 hours)
Day 7 – Sarsala Bay – Cleopatra Bay – Kapıdağı Peninsula (12km)
Day 8 – Rest day or local walk
Day 9 – Kirme to Babadağ(2000m) (13km/4hour)
Day 10 – Fethiye Market
Day 11 – Zorlar – Oyuk – Üzümlü Road (14km/4-5 hours)
Day 12 – Babadağ – Pinara (15km/6 hours)
Day 13 – Lycian Way: Alınca – Ge (13km/4-5 hours)
