Christmas in Fethiye wouldn’t be the same without the Çalış Christmas Fair and, with the wet weather we’ve been having, there were many people watching the forecast with bated breath and fingers crossed for a dry day… and it worked.
After a very wet start, the rain stopped and held off until later in the afternoon.
The Çalış Children’s Charity (3C’s) Christmas Fair was on.
150 stalls filled the promenade with seasonal merchandise; Christmas handicrafts and gifts, Santa hats, decorations, Christmas trees, tinsel and stockings and seasonal foods.
Christmassy dressed stallholders were very happy with the turnout and had a great day, especially the ones selling pies, cakes and pastries. People turned out, despite the weather, to browse and buy the Christmas wares.

The day raised just over 3000TL which will go towards helping to provide a hearing implant for a child with hearing difficulties.
