Yaşam İçin Yarış (Race for Life) raises 53,000TL
The numbers are in and it’s fantastic news.
218 people officially registered for Yaşam İçin Yarış 2017 and the event raised a whopping 53,000TL.
After discussion with the Oncology department at the Devlet (State) Hospital, the money will be spent on refurbishing one of the chemotherapy rooms. New comfortable chairs, side coffee tables and IV stands will be purchased and the room itself will be decorated to give it a relaxing and less clinical feel.
The Yaşam İçin Yarış Committee are currently working with the hospital to source the items before the refurbishment takes place.
On completion, there will be an official presentation and opening along with a full press release.
We would like to extend a huge thank you to everyone who took part in Yaşam İçin Yarış and helped make it such a success.

Yaşam İçin Yarış 2018 has been provisionally booked in for Sunday 14 th October. Keep an eye out for further details.
Yakamoz Hotel raises money for charity.
Mehmet Güven, the owner of the Yakamoz Hotel, likes to support local charities and raises money in the hotel over the summer months.
This year the hotel raised 700TL, of which 300TL has been donated to Fethiye International Group (FIG) and 400TL to Haydos.
