Fethiye’s 4th World Music Festival that, since 2013 has brought some incredible music to the heart of Fethiye, had to battled with the elements this year but even so, as with previous years, it was nevertheless a great success.

Whether the musicians were playing in the wide open spaces of the town’s Beşkaza Meydan, the town’s Cultural Centre, or the more intimate surroundings of Antik Restaurant in Kayaköy, their music filled the air, although it did have to compete on a couple of occasions with some rather heavy rainfall and accompanying thunder.

A warm welcome
On a smaller scale than in previous years, the festival’s loyal audience gave a warm welcome to all the performers.
Welcome back!
Scott Jeffers, once again travelled all the way from Arizona to play for his loyal fans. It’s reached the stage for many, where a festival without Scott just wouldn’t be the same!

Also playing again was the remarkable group from Iran, the Terhan Ensemble and it was a pleasure to hear their music.
