Yaşam İçin Yarış (Race For Life) takes place in Fethiye for the third year
Yaşam İçin Yarış – Racing For Life
Over the next few weeks we will bring you a series of articles with more detail. For now, here’s an update of where we are.
The most important thing for now is please save the date.
Yaşam İçin Yarış 2018
This year’s event will take place on Sunday 14th October 2018 at 10am.
The 5km race will start and finish at the front of the Fethiye Culture Centre.
The route will run along the harbour to Denizatı Restaurant and back.
The race is open to everyone. Adults young and old, children, wheelchair users and anyone else who wants to join in.
This year, to add some more interest, we are inviting groups to register. Grab your group, register, dress up, sign up sponsors, run and enjoy. Well it is a fun run!
20km race
The committee are looking into the practicality of including the 20km race that was trialled last year for the more serious runners. Watch out for further details.
Registration
Registration points will be set up in Fethiye, Calış, Hisarönü, Ovacık, Üzümlü and Dalyan and will be open for registrations by early September.
This year we have 500 registration packs and our aim is not to have a single one left.
T-shirts
The t-shirts are being redesigned and are turquoise. This is now the permanent color for Yaşam İçin Yarış and the basis of the brand. They are currently being made by a local company, Mutlu Bayrak, and will be available from the registration points.
Fundraising
We have various fundraising activities planned so please watch out for details as we bring them to you and come along and support this great cause.
A date for your diary is Wednesday 26th September when the Glamour Girls will put on a show dedicated to Yaşam İçin Yaris. Watch out for full details next week.
