Following on from the hugely successful Soul Train held earlier this year which raised an incredible 28,000 TL for Animal Charities across our region, last week the team staged Soul Train 2 in support of our children’s charities.
‘We knew this was going to be a big event’ said Gill Sanderson from the Soul Train Team, especially when we sold all of our nearly 700 tickets in just 8 days.
The evening turned out to be a huge success, guests were entertained by a stellar performance from Funky Foniks.
DJs George and Umit kept the dance floor full to capacity all night.
A raffle, silent auction and mini auction along with money made from ticket sales raised a staggering 40,650 TL.

The money raised was presented to FETAV Children’s Charities 3Cs, FIG and Embrace who each received 13.550 TL to carry on the excellent work they do for children across our region.
Soul Train 2019
Although George and Chris Rimmer are now taking their long overdue retirement, others from the team are already looking forward to 2019. So watch out for the train visiting a station near to you.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank Figan and Nebi Akgül and all of the staff at Bakraç Beach Park along with the many local businesses who donated prizes so generously and of course all of you who donated items towards our Mega hampers which are such an important part of our fundraising.
Finally, we must mention the Soul Train Team who’s hard work and dedication made these unique nights happen and raised nearly 70,000 TL for good causes across both events.
