11th International Fethiye Arts Festival

Fethiye Times - LOVE-FETHIYE

The last three weeks have seen Fethiye buzzing with art and literature activities and music shows as the 11th International Arts Festival took place.

The Festival was arranged by the Fethiye Rotary Club and culminated in the Grand Parade on Saturday which started at the Tuesday marketplace, followed a circular route round Fethiye town centre and ended up at the Beşkaza Meydanı (Fethiye Town Square) for the Festival closing ceremony.

And what a festive parade it was…

A colorful and unforgettable parade

The Mayor and dignitaries, the Fethiye Municipality band, local businesses, schools, sport clubs, the Yörük and Türkmen association, Turkish folk dancers, musicians, Scottish pipers and dancers, emergency services, motorcycle clubs, classic cars and many more turned out to take part in the most colorful, noisy and joyful parade Fethiye has seen for a few years.

The parade ended at Beşkaza Meydanı (Fethiye Town Square) with the closing ceremony and entertainment.
