This summer, Fethiye Times is sharing brief reports of weddings held in the area – particularly those involving British nationals – and has invited wedding planners from across the area to submit details for publication. We were delighted to receive notification of another recent ceremony at Kıdrak Beach with a reception later in Kayaköy.
Jenkins – Bonney
Paramedic Cerys Jenkins was married to police office Christopher Bonney at a ceremony on Kıdrak Beach.
The wedding, attended by family and friends from Turkey and South Wales, was followed by a reception later at Izela Restaurant in Kayaköy.
The couple, who both live in Bridgend, are the daughter of Sharon and Jeff Lawrence and the son of John and Jill Bonney.
Witnesses at the ceremony – arranged by Eken Weddings Turkey – were Gavin Kyle, who was also best man, and bridesmaid Sam Davies. The bride was also attended by bridesmaids Annie Price, Rachel Lundrigan, Kirsty Loveland and Rhiannon Jenkins.
