The Dental Operation Center, or ’DOC Clinic’ as it is also known locally in Fethiye, was the brainchild of consultant implantologist and cosmetic dentist, Dr. Özgür Yürük, who envisioned a state of the art dental hospital in a popular holiday resort with all branches of dentistry available under one roof for the convenience of both locals and international patients alike. Along with 2 other existing members of his team from his original dental clinic in Bursa, in the north of Turkey, he moved together with his family to Fethiye in 2018 in order to realize his dream.
Located conveniently on the outskirts of Fethiye and close to the resort of Calis Beach, the DOC Dental Clinic opened in February 2019 with the addition of a further 4 English speaking dentists to take the total number of available dental chairs to 6, covering everything from general dentistry, dental prosthetics and orthodontics to paedodontics (child dentistry), implantology and oral/maxillofacial surgery.
Combined with 2 English speaking international patient coordinators and a large number of experienced dental assistants and clinic support staff, the Dental Operation Center aims to provide expert dental care at a competitive price in a friendly, modern and hygienic environment.

Dr. Özgür Yürük
Our chief cosmetic/aesthetic dentist, implantologist and founder of the DOC Clinic, Dr. Özgür YÜRÜK, grew up in the province of Bursa and qualified from the distinguished Istanbul Hacettepe University Faculty of Dentistry, as well as completing a master of science in oral implantology at the Toscano Stomatology Institute of Guglielmo Marconi University in Rome, Italy.
Dr. Özgür is a married father of two, speaks Turkish, English and German and enjoys rally racing and sailing in his spare time.
Dr. Hüseyin Biçer
For our younger patients, our friendly and very patient paedodontist (child dentist), Dr. Hüseyin Biçer, is on hand to deal with all manner of paediatric dentistry related issues. Dr. Hüseyin was born and raised in the central Anatolian province of Eskişehir and graduated from the Department of Paediatric Dentistry at Eskişehir Osmangazi University. His professional interests include protective and preventative dentistry, behavioural redirection/intervention and general anaesthesia and sedation, whilst he likes to spend his spare time playing football and tennis or practicing web design. Dr. Hüseyin speaks Turkish and English.
Dr. Sevim Kocaköse
Dr. Sevim is a local to Fethiye and is one of our general practising dentists. She graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry at the Süleyman Demirel University in Isparta, just a couple of hours north of Antalya. Her areas of expertise include the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of oral inflammation and gingival diseases as well as cosmetic dentistry including teeth whitening procedures. Dr. Sevim speaks a good level of English, as well as her mother tongue and she enjoys hiking in the Fethiye area and playing tennis in her spare time.
Dr. Hamed Deveci
For those requiring any type of oral or maxillofacial surgery, Dr. Hamed, originally from Iran, but also a citizen of Turkey, joined our team having graduated from the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery as part of the Faculty of Dentistry at the popular Gazi University in the capital, Ankara. He also qualified from the Faculty of Dentistry at Marmara University.
His professional areas of expertise include oral pathology, maxillofacial trauma, temporomandibular joint disorders and surgery, as well as dentoalveolar surgery, implantology and surgically supported orthodontic treatments. In his spare time, Dr. Hamed enjoys horse riding, trap shooting and sailing.
Dr. Didem Batıtürk
Helping to straighten the smiles of both children and adults alike, we have our helpful orthodontist, Dr. Didem Batıtürk, who is originally of Greek decent. Dr. Didem graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry at Pamukkale University and specializes in orthodontics. She speaks both Turkish and English and her hobbies included kite surfing and snowboarding.
Dr. Cihan Erol
Completing our team and the second of our general dentists, we have Dr. Cihan Erol, who was born and raised in the capital city of Ankara and studied dentistry at the Faculty of Dentistry at Hacettepe University. Dr. Cihan’s professional fields of interest include cosmetic dentistry and root canal treatments (endodontics). He speaks a good level of English alongside his mother tongue and enjoys art history and cinema during his spare time.
