There was a distinctively Christmas feel in the air in Çalış last Sunday when Çalış Children’s Charity (3C’s) held their Christmas Fair.
Grey skies and a 40% chance of rain didn’t stop people from turning out to browse and buy Christmas wares.
170 stalls filled the promenade with seasonal merchandise; Christmas handicrafts and gifts, garden ornaments, Santa hats, decorations, Christmas trees, tinsel and stockings and seasonal foods.
Father Christmas made an appearance and had his busiest day yet.

Despite the occasional rainy spell, the Charity raised a total net figure in excess of 15,000 TL, which will make an enormous difference to the local and special needs children who are helped by 3C’s.
3C’s would like to extend a massive thank you to the volunteers for their help and to everyone who came on the day.
