Another 322 people have recovered from COVID-19 in Turkey in the last 24 hours, bringing the total to 786.
In a tweet yesterday, Health Minister Fahrettin Koca announced the confirmed cases for Turkey rose by 3,013 to a total of 23,934 with 1,311 remaining in intensive care. 76 more people have died bring the number of fatalities to a total of 501.
161,380 tests have been carried out in Turkey, 12% of which were carried out in the last 24 hours.
Turkey-wide measures are added almost daily, while municipalities take on their own precautions as well.

Young Turkish man volunteers to be among 1st plasma donors
As Turkey starts testing plasma therapy as a possible treatment for COVID-19, a young Turkish man who recovered from the disease has volunteered to be among the first donors.
Fırat Oral, age 29, was admitted to a hospital in southern Izmir with a coronavirus infection on March 23 and recovered from the disease in 12 days after receiving treatment.
“I will be very happy if I am going to help someone to win against that virus. I want to be a donor. My blood will be helping to save someone’s life,” he said.

A nearly twofold increase in the number of patients who have recovered from COVID-19 raises hopes that the blood and sweat shed by health workers and the precautions have finally begun to pay off, though a steady increase of new cases leaves lingering doubts.
Exemptions to under 20’s curfew announced
The Ministry of Internal Affairs has sent an additional circular to 81 provincial governorships with exceptions to the curfew for young people under 20.
Those who are between the ages of 18-20 ,and who work in public institutions and organizations, who demonstrate that they work regularly in the private sector and seasonal agricultural workers, will be exempt from the curfew. Those who are exempt will have to carry documents that will prove that they are covered by the exemption and present them during inspections.
New measures quickly adapted in Fethiye markets
Fethiye Municipality have quickly reacted to the latest set of measures to curb the spread of coronavirus.
Fethiye Municipality officers (Zabita) were at Patlangıç market yesterday, checking people were wearing masks in public areas, stalls were 2 meters apart and those shopping were all over 20 years of age
Citizens used up numerous bottles of hand sanitizer from the point available during the day. Citizens not wearing masks were warned, however some said they were having a hard time finding a mask.
